Well Girls, we are wrapping up week three. Hope most of you are still hanging in there. Haven’t heard from some of you, but I for one know how busy life can be. Just don’t let it get so busy you miss your time with Him.
Today’s Tip ~
Fill Your Mouth!
I find that praise and worship music is good for a variety of ailments. If I’m sad it makes me happy, if I'm tired it rejuvenates me, if I’m happy, it just makes me that much more happier, so when I was reflecting the other day about what I could put in my mouth instead of food, I came across this verse ~
"My soul will be satisfied as with the richest of foods; with singing lips my mouth will praise you." Ps 63:5
So crank up the tunes Girls and get satisfied!

hey nola,
thanx for the verse, it 's a keeper, just like you!!! anyway hangin in there, do well part of the day, but hey that's a start. i am still having a hard time eating anything in the daytime when i am work (which is 5:30 to 2:30 am), so keep praying for me. i am learning alot in this study, not that my "flesh" likes everything she has to say, but a lot of it does make sense.
happy birthday missy!!!!!!
have a great weekend everybody.

Music can be very invigorating, and can change a bad mood into a good one in seconds. I love Jeremy Camp and have a couple of his CDs in my car. Whenever I'm feeling down or having doubts, his songs remind me to look up and to ask God to handle it.
Food is a real issue for me. I just gave up on a 2 week diet (too much protein, didn't lose much at all, and too hard to feed my family this way). I think that walking and eating smaller portions is the only way it's going to work for me. I wish I would lose a pound every time I pass up a cookie or other treat! I still manage to gain eating "regular" food. Oh, well, time to put on the music and start dancing!

thanx this study has been so eye opening for me i'm learning a lot about myself and my responsibilities to my family...
I am so glad to finally be able to join you! I can't wait to see what I have missed in the past 18 days. I am very certain that I will benefit greatly from it.
In regards to today's suggestion for crockpot cooking, grocery list guidelines, increasing veggies and water I can honestly say it works!
The other items that I have put in place, since January of this year, are walking at least 10000 steps a day and counting my calories by making certan that I consume 1200 calories per day. Bag cereal, chips, etc. in individual serving sizes based on the product label and now I don't eat more than I should of my favorite items.
Nicole enjoys the convenience also!
I don't leave any of my favorites out I just limit the amounts I eat.
Now 20 lbs lighter sine January, I agree with Donna planning and preparing really pays off and heck we have our own "fast food" at grocery and retail store prices.
