One of the things I appreciate about Donna Partow is that she is sensitive to gals in all walks of life; married gals, single gals, moms and working gals. So I loved it when she gave us a fresh look in today's lesson at being the wife of Christ and He being our husband. It puts Proverbs 31 within reach of all of us and takes on a whole new meaning!
I think it would serve us well (and those around us) to keep in mind that He is our Husband and if we truly desire to be noble women, we are to act according.
I think Donna summed it up when she asked, "Can God have confidence in you?".
Something to mediate on!!!
Today Tip~
Find an Accountability Partner
Pick another gal in the group to be accountable with. If you don't know anyone in the group, let me know and I can pair you up. There is strength in numbers, girls so get a gal pal and fight the good fight!
Blessings~

Hi Ladies; Wow, just on Day 3 and it is wonderful and scary at the same time. I really like the "first" letter help in the memorizing process,it is working so far for me. I also put the "letters" on our bathroom mirror on a post-it-note. With as many times as I am in there (older has it challenges) I should have the verses down in no time!!
As for an accountability partner, as I am in Ohio, and do not know many of you, if anyone is looking for a partner they do not know, I'm your girl.
God is great and I excited to finally be on the path to becoming the Woman he made us to be. Virginia
Hmmmm....can God have confidence in me? Well, I would say most times He could, but there are times where I need His strength and power to lean on. Just like in any marriage, we occasionally need backup when we grow weary or are excessively challenged. So my answer would be that there is always room for improvement - and He can have confidence in me as long as I remember to turn to Him, and not to the world, when I really need Him. I need to remember my first Love.

Vera; How true your words are. Thank you for putting it into words that have encouragement for us all and not "quilt or defeated thoughts". You sparked me and re-started my day. Virginia
That is so nice of you to say, Virginia! It was God speaking His encouragement to you, not me. I am just the conduit!
If you would like, I'd love to be your accountability partner. Email me at vkb@aol.com and we'll get started.
TGIF - please pray for me, I have to drive a long distance and get up and talk about myself at 2 huge work meetings today. It's the end of my second week, and I love it but I am feeling overwhelmed.
Blessings!

Thank you for your kind words Nola. I am excited to have a partner. Vera, I will email you later. You are in my prayers as well. It has been 4 days of reading prior to this morning, times flies where we are learning and growing for the Lord!! That and old age, ha-ha. V
Virginia...you are not old! =) I'm happy both the Lady "V"'s have found each other as accountability partners. For me, I had a truly wonderful example of accountability when I went to college and I do believe that accountability is SO important and SO rewarding/eye-opening. Husbands or significant others are wonderful as accountability partners, but I believe that having a same sex accountability partner/group IN ADDITION is also vital. I discovered things about me that I never knew or never thought I had to work on...and not only that, but you also are granted so much affirmation, you can't help but be feel God's love. I'm super excited about accountability. Can you tell?
