Got Lemons?

There isn't much that I can add to today study. She made it pretty clear what we need to do if we want to bear fruit. I loved her story about her lemon tree, how much simpler could it be,
No water, No fruit!!!

Are you getting enough water?

Today's Tip ~

Bible Study Worksheets

Be sure to go the back of your book or go on-line to www.donnapartow.com and print out your worksheets! This is a very cool tool to help you get all the nourishment you need!

Today's lesson is the cornerstone of the Christian walk--staying in the Word of God.

There are many different approaches to studying the Bible, but I really like Donna Partow's guide. After going through the worksheet a few times, it might even become second nature!

Because we are memorizing and studying Proverbs 31, this will help us delve deeper into God's purposes for our lives!

A lot of this has to do with trust, which is challenging at best in our current culture.

First of all, it's becoming more difficult to know whom (or what) to trust.

Secondly, we are a fast-food, fast-results society, and we all know that God does not respond in this manner. We have to learn to trust Him in the long term - which is not easy these days.

A greater demonstration of maturity and faith is trust and enduring the occasional and inevitable long-suffering. It would be great if our culture would honor not only sports figures and actors, but moreso those who have suffered, waited, and triumphed over great obstacles in life. These are the people of great character, and they should be lauded for their faith and refusing to give up or give in.

Mother Teresa comes to my mind. How long and hard she worked, and with so little! She knew that her reward would be with God in heaven, and paid little attention to the man-made awards here on earth. I wish I could be more like her.
