Today’s Tip ~
Memorize it!
I came across Psalms 34:5 back in Vegas when I was doing “Fellowship with the Father” (a weekly e-letter that I sent out to encourage gals to have a daily QT or TAG). I loved it!! To me it summed up one of the core reason why we would want to have our TAG: to look radiant!!! Best beauty treatment I can think of!! So write it on an index card, a post-it note or a scrap of paper and put it on your bathroom mirror, your car dash and your kitchen cupboard, but memorize it, look to Him and start looking radiant!!!!
“Those who look to him are radiant…”Ps 34:5

hi everyone,
you know what i love about this day is that if you have a "Godly countenance" then all your relationships will be better. Think about it, if your confidence is in God and not on your loved ones then there will be less disappointment and pressure in the relationship because your reliance is not on that person and or situation. and what better way to show off the love of our "Heavenly Husband" than to "glow with radiance" dispite our earthly relationships and situations. anyway that's what i got from today.
have a safe and fun labor day weekend ladies.
lots of love

Oh if I could glow with a Godly countenance all the day, hours, and minutes of my life. I worry that those times when I stumble, that is when the world decides to look at me and then judges: "SEE...those Christians are hypocrites". Anyone know what I'm talking about? I know it's not the judgment of the world I should be worried about, but it still bothers me b/c we ARE bound to stumble, even a little bit. And, I always feel as if the world only looks at me at those times...I just think it's so unfair. Thinking more about it after this study, I guess my worry is in what the world will think about my God when they see me stumble...but I know I'm bound to stumble b/c I'm SO not perfect, you know? Why can't the world just look at me when I have a Godly countenance so that the whole world can see His character?
I heard the following statement long ago, and it's always stuck with me: "The single greatest cause of atheism in the world today is Christians, who acknowledge Jesus with their lips, and then walk out the door and deny him by their lifestyle. That is what an unbelieving world simply finds unbelievable." I just hope that those moments I stumble are actually viewed as MOMENTS, and NOT my lifestyle.
Yes, Missy B., our heavenly husband never forgets us, or denies us! He is our Rock. Praise God!
Missy C., thanks for sharing the statement regarding Christian behavior as viewed by atheists. A lifestyle is a big thing. Moments are forgiveable, and everyone has them! I think that lifestyle is what we choose to repeat over time.
I just want to praise the Lord for being so very faithful to me! I've been praying for a situation in my family, while also adopting a spirit of gratitude, and His blessings poured forth in abundance. God is so good!
