Day 26

Today’s lesson is one of my favorite! I mean being told to take a bath, yippy, I’m all over that!! Once again I knew this was coming because she has it as part of her 90 day renewal program ( the first study I did), so I started doing this some time ago. Not only is it a wonderful time of relaxation for you,it’s a great time to turn the lights down low and meditate on your memory verses.

Today’s Tip ~

Buy in Bulk!

I got my Baking Soda at Sam’s so I was able to get a large box that will last awhile. I never checked to see if they carried Epsom Salts, but they probably do. Neither one is pricey so it all doable.

Note: I skip the oil because it leaves a film on your tub.

YAY for baths!!! The only thing I don't like about baths is that I feel as if I need to clean out my tub once I get out...and a whole lotta good that does once I've "relaxed"! haha. Question: Do those things (Epsom salt, baking soda, oil, etc...) do something special for your body? Like make it glow...haha! To me, it actually sounds like I need to have a good scrubbing after that bath. Anyone know?

On a different note...I'm at work right now and I'm having massive stomach pains. Please pray for me...I still haven't gotten the results from my procedures and I'm getting a little frustrated b/c I have YET to figure out how to go to battle with my stomach! Thanks ladies.

I'll keep you in my prayers Missy! I'm with on the bath thing. I cannot take baths because then I'm thinking about it cleaning the tub once I'm done. So my relaxtion is zero. What can I say I like a clean tub. he he

This lesson made me wish I had a larger bathtub... Mine is just too small and uncomfortable to soak in... Maybe one day!

Hi all, I'm going on vacation for a week and won't be commenting (probably a good thing, because the whole family is on the computer too much). We're going on a cruise and I'll be bringing my book along with me so I'll keep up.

Will miss everyone...keep the blog going! I love reading your comments! Missy, good luck with the tummy troubles (baths might actually help).

hello ladies,

Missy C. i will be praying for your stomache pain and praying for a good gastronologist and diagnosis.

did some research on epsom salts, baking soda, and oil bath. epsom salts draws toxins from the body, sedates the nervous system, relaxes muscles, reduces swelling, natural exfoliator, and many more benefits. the baking soda is a good natural body cleaner and the oil is so that after you have soaked everything out of your skin including your "oil" you can re-oil and have soft skin. hows that for the facts. one more note: the informations said not to use epsom salt baths if you have heart trouble, high blood pressure, or diabetes. so i hope this helps anyone with questions. i got the info from www.ask.com.

anyways i have always loved baths. so this one i will have to try and maybe it may help my feet problems. worth a try. still lovin that lemon water. haven't bought the cranberry yet, hopefully this weekend.

thank you caroline for keeping your eyes out for the rebounder. let me know.

take care all!

love ya

Natural sedatives? ahh!!! Just kidding. Thanks for the info, Missy B. That's really good advice not to use the Epsom salts if you have any of those medical problems. Thanks a million!

PS. My tummy started to be tamed before lunch (we had another potluck!), so thanks for the prayers, everyone. I'll keep you posted with results (if I ever get them!).
